Safety becomes the highlight of the 2025 Celerio, with six airbags standard across all variants- a rare in for this segment. Further, Maruti has equipped the new Alto with electronic stability control hill-hold assist and seatbelt reminders. We have said in previous posts that the upgrades are being made to meet additional safety norms which have come into effect over time, and your fellow passenger should be somewhat comforted by this.
Subtle Yet Stylish Exterior Updates
Despite maintaining the same compact dimensions, the revised Celerio boasts a new look featuring a restyled chrome-accented grille and modified headlights. The bumpers have been given a light tweak for greater finish, and some new wheel designs breathe a little fresh style. New tail lamps and a more subtly shaped boot lid round out the car’s backside.

The car still does very well on fuel economy though with the manual version of Celerio giving 25.2 km/l and the AMT returning a prospective mileage of 26.7 km/l (test conditions). Those looking for a little more will enjoy class-leading 35 km/kg economy provided by the CNG variant.

As always, the 2025 Celerio is offered in four trims—LXi, VXi, ZXi and ZXi+—with AMT and CNG options from the VXi variant itself. Starting at ₹5.64 lakh for the entry-level LXi and stretching all the way up to ₹7.37 lakh for the top-spec ZXi+ AMT, in an attempt to make it accessible to everyone across its range.
